Major features of site engine 

-   Site’s content does not depend on the design it is presented in. Independency of site’s content and the form of its presenting entails several advantages. One of them is that once the site is developed, information that a customer wants to see at his/her site may be changed (updated or completed) – with no changes to the design. When required, a designer may change the design template. In this case, once made changes will be incorporated throughout the entire site. Also, the independency of the site’s content and design makes it possible to incorporate information from a site into a larger information system.

-   Customers may change contents and structure of their sites by themselves. The customer may change the site’s directory and its entire contents by him/herself from any location, using your usual browser and no additional programs. User-friendly editing interface has intuitive navigation. Another feature of the engine that proves to be very helpful for e-commerce sites is that information on merchandise stocks and prices from 1C database (one of the leading Russian standard merchandise databases) can be easily integrated into the site.

-   Data model can be extended with all previous information accurately preserved. After the site is developed, a customer may need to extend the site’s data model and, for example, add new fields to visitor’s questionnaire or new characteristics to merchandise. Such data model extension can be done quickly, with the existing site information preserved.

-   Visitor-interaction active modules are built into the engine. The composition of the site engine not only allows to edit site’s pages, but also, when required, use the built-in modules, such as “forum”, “questionnaire”, “feedback” and “search”. As to such instruments as “newscasting”, “guest book”, “visitor’s questionnaire”, “photo album”, “merchandise catalogue”, “files archive”, “articles catalogue” or “notice board” – they can be easily constructed on the basis of built-in types of data. Objects with unusual list of characteristics can also be organized, viewed and edited with ease.

-   The engine’s core and site’s administration system can be further elaborated and updated. Additionally, specific functional options can be developed for a particular customer. We base our work on operation of the engine’s core, containing standard site development methods, and engineer additional modules for customers who require visitor-interaction active instruments that may not be performed via available standard methods. Renewed versions of the engine keep working correctly with any additional modules developed for a particular customer.
